Wait and Hope

Good things are always given to those who wait and are patient. I always believe it especially when it comes to photography and fishing. For photography, I will always wait for those precious moments and without hesitation, just click the shuttle button. For fishing, the patience is different, you will need to wait for the fishes to bite. When you reel a fish up, you will be disappointed sometimes, because it is not the size you want. Sometimes you can also go home with nothing at all. So for me, fishing requires more patience.

I'm into fishing before I start photography. I like to fish along the rivers and sometimes ponds. It is an expensive hobby, too, but it really relaxes me. I like to go fishing with my buddies. 

This is me, few years ago.

 Me and patrick, we went fishing nearly every afternoon that time. Rain or shine, he is always beside me.

 Had a great dinner that night at Sadiqin's house. You can hardly see this kind of size again these few years. But i caught TWO!

 This is a Snake-Head fish. It was very challenging to catch this fish. It was strong and "slippery". 

This is a kind of cat fish, nicknamed "Sakam". I heard the villagers of the kampung nearby said this fish is very rare. Well, it still went into my stomach. Haha.

Prawn fishing is fun also. This is "Udang Galah".

Few years back, I went fishing at the sea in Mukah with my dad. It was very very very, and i mean VERY HOT! The results came out well. Here are the pictures my dad took that day. ACTION!

29/5/2011 - Saw a brilliant old school camera! Good for lomography. Well, i will use this for my photography class perhaps. The quality of the camera is sharp and has very good color quality.

Manufactured by "KMZ" (Krasnogorkii Mechanicheskii Zavod or Krasnogorsk Mechanical facstory), located in Krasnogorsk City near Moskow. The last version of the series was made around 1955 and discontinued in 1959.

27/5/2011 - Our lecturer, Augustus brought his multimedia students to dinner at Beach Seafood Restaurant. Well, it was a great dinner! Thanks, boss! Some of my seniors brought a big box to the table. At first, I didn't know what was inside. After we finished our dinner, they opened the box and wow! - the famous angry birds cupcakes.

24/5/2011 - 1.46pm, experimented with some lightings with my friend, Johnny Kung, who just arrived from Sibu. Ok, he will be my model of the day.

After i had finished taking his pictures, i decided to take my own as well, since I haven't had one before. haha.

Busy Weeks bring Satisfaction!

These few weeks, I was rushing through my assignments everyday. Just now 23/5/2011 2.30pm, I went to the combined Multimedia design presentation. There were lots of students and that made me nervous. I feel very happy because after i saw my seniors' work, I promise myself to work harder on my 3D to reach their standard. They are really good! Btw, I'm satisfied with my own 3D character modelling because i had tried my best. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my lecturer / BOSS, Mr.Augustus. He is always the one who tries his best to solve the problems I'm facing and gives me valuable improvement advice. Thank You, Boss!

For my Video 2nd individual assignment, it took me 5 days to finish recording the video. We need to use 30sec to show a meaningful message from our video. After I had done my recording and editing, I feel proud and happy after all the hard work I put in. I would like to thank Mr.Gregory who always pushes us to produce  good quality videos. I have learnt a lot of things from him, especially lighting and ideas. Thank You Sir!

The subject that stressed me most was creating a logo of Friendship Garden Kuching. I tried many kinds of designs, but they just didn't work out well. Luckily i have a caring Lecturer, Mr. Michael Lee, who never fails to help and guide me in creating my logo. With his wonderful ideas, I finally created my logo. :D Thank You, Sir!

When I was doing research for my logo at Friendship Garden, i saw something rare. The fountain of that garden is functioning! That was the 1st time I ever saw that water fountain functioning! KACHAK!
